We gather farmer data, (names, Location gender facial recognition) we group them in clusters according to their communities. We assign a group leader who we have trained for each group, for better management, training and development.
We engage them, the local communities and key stakeholders to raise awareness of our mapping activities. We check the suitability of land particularly features like soil texture, and topography. We take detailed maps of their farms for deforestation assessment and compliance with our transparency standard.
We finance farmers through providing farm inputs rather than giving them cash. We disburse loans in the form of fertilizers, improved seeds and crop protection products.
When the farmer receives their inputs, they start planting. We assign a field officer to organize farmers into clusters so as to give tailored advice and ensure they adhere to best practices driven by data. We track their progress through weekly visits till harvest
